Hello! I am Agnese Smilga-Spalviņa, a beekeeper and European honey bee queen instrumental insemination specialist from Latvia. Our love for honey bees has been passed down for generations. Grandpa calls honey bee “dievgosniņa” which would roughly translate to “goddess”, and no wonder honey bee is an amazingly diligent, orderly and beautiful. It seems that every time you open a beehive, you witness a miracle. That's why we are so passionate about beekeeping.

Our goal is to breed the best honey bee. Just as them we also work diligently to study novelties in breeding work and we continuously look for opportunities to improve our own performance. We diligently work with the bee colony evaluation system, carefully select the best bee colonies, from which we are rearing bee queens and drones, we perform instrumental insemination and we are happy to offer you our own selected bee queens.
